Workshop Technician, Full Time, Great Barford, Bedfordshire

We are looking for a driven, self-starting individual to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis to carry out the day-to-day activities required to keep our workshop running smoothly.

In this role you will:

• Clean, inspect and test our hire tools and access equipment
• Service and repair our equipment
• Use our computer system to do fleeting in, certificates for LOLAs, managing stock, etc
• Communicate with our customers and suppliers by phone and in-person
• Keep the workshop clean, tidy and organised
• Work to performance targets

It is essential that you bring:

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Experience of cleaning, organising, and tidying
• Physical ability to load, unload and move cargo
• A can-do attitude with willingness to help out
• Ability to work quickly and methodically
• Ability to concentrate whilst doing repetitive tasks.

Working hours are approximately 6.00am to 4.00pm or 7.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, and sometimes overtime is required to meet customer demand.
