Warehouse Operative

Full Time, Great Barford, Bedfordshire

Working Hours: 12 noon to 10pm – Monday – Friday.

We are aiming to provide our services to 80% of high-rise construction projects in London, while also servicing sites across most of England. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Your responsibilities will be:

• Re-stocking our hire equipment in our warehouse and yard.
• Picking our hire equipment ready for loading.
• Loading and unloading our hire equipment.
• In-fleeting” of new equipment – adding THX branding and fleet numbers, correct recording and set up of items in the system including Pat Testing – in-house calibration.
• Ensuring we maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
• Cleaning hire equipment, including pressure washing.
• Rebranding new equipment with THX stickers.
• Using a computer-based system for administration.
• Providing support to our warehouse, workshop and driving teams as required.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE:

• Experience cleaning, organising, and tidying a busy warehouse.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Physical ability to load, unload and move cargo.
• A can-do attitude with a willingness to help out.
• Ability to work quickly and methodically.
• Ability to concentrate whilst doing repetitive tasks
