We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive our growth plans forward.

what are we looking for?
As the Sales Director, you will be a key member of our executive team, responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability for the company.
You will lead, develop and energise the sales team and work closely with other departments, including operations, marketing, and finance, to develop and implement commercial strategies that meet the needs of our customers and support business growth.
what will you be doing?
Your responsibilities will be:
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company growth objectives. This includes identifying key market segments, assessing competition, and creating innovative approaches to expand our customer base.
Commercial Strategy Development: Work closely with the executive team to develop and implement commercial strategies that align with the company’s growth goals. This includes pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and profitability analysis.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to ensure high performance and alignment with company goals. Provide guidance, training, and support to foster professional development and enhance individual and team effectiveness ensuring full alignment of the THX Values.
Business Development: Drive business development strategies to acquire new clients and strengthen existing relationships. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to capitalise on growth opportunities and maximise revenue potential.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor sales activities and track progress against targets. Analyse sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimise sales performance.
Customer Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and challenges. Proactively address customer concerns, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of satisfaction to enhance loyalty and retention.
Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including operations, marketing, and finance, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. Foster a collaborative and cohesive work environment to drive collective success. Professional networking
Market Research and Innovation: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation. Leverage insights to develop tailored solutions and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Requirements for the role include:
- Proven track record of success in sales and sales leadership roles, preferably within the tool hire or construction industry.
- Evidence of a strong industry / sector network.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
- Strategic thinker with ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of market trends and competitive landscape.
- Experience in managing complex sales cycles and closing high-value deals.
