Working Hours: Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Financial Controller.

what are we looking for?
We are looking for someone to help to produce accurate management accounts to support budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis within THX.

what will you be doing?
Your responsibilities will include:
- To prepare accurate and timely management accounts and reporting.
- Supporting the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts in collaboration with operational managers.
- Monitor cost control across departments.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure compliance with financial policies and controls.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, funders and other stakeholders as required.
- Continulously improve financial processes and reporting systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
what we would like to see:
Essential experience, skills & attributes for the role:
- Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivilant).
- Previous experience in management accounting, preferably in asset-intensive industries.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explani financial information to non-financial managers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (Sage 50, Power BI)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
Desireable experience, skills & attributes for the role:
- Commercial awareness.
