what are we looking for?

We are looking for an organised, proactive and passionate individual who is ready to join a growing team in an exciting industry. This role is centred on enabling and supporting managers across the business – particularly in high-volume operational areas – to take ownership of their recruitment.

You’ll provide the structure, tools, and expertise they need to recruit confidently and consistently, while also playing a supporting role across other stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, and retention initiatives.

what will you be doing?

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the central point of expertise for recruitment across the company, including but not limited to operations, sales, admin, and support roles.
  • Partner with department managers to define role needs, write engaging job adverts, and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Provide training and coaching on recruitment best practices, including interview techniques and candidate assessment.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and job boards, managing relationships and ensuring value for money.
  • Monitor recruitment activity across departments, flag risks, and step in to support where additional help is needed.
  • Oversee recruitment compliance, including right-to-work checks and data handling.

Your secondary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure a smooth handover from recruitment to induction.
  • Support the department managers in areas such as probation tracking, training coordination, and employee engagement activities.
  • Contribute to wider HR initiatives that improve employee experience, development, and retention.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with key lifecycle touchpoints such e.g exits and HR communications.

what we would like to see:

Essential experience, skills & attributes for the role:

  • Proven experience in a recruitment-focused HR role, ideally in a high-volume or fast-paced environment.
  • Confident working alongside and enabling managers to lead recruitment activity.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
  • Highly organised and capable of managing multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong working knowledge of recruitment tools and systems; ATS experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of employment legislation and recruitment compliance requirements.
  • A facilitative, coaching approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • CIPD Level 3+ or equivalent experience (preferred but not essential).
