Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 7am to 5pm

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Are you a driven individual with a high degree of autonomy and a passion for achieving results? Do you have proven success in a customer service environment and knowledge of customer account management? We are looking for an Account Manager to manage and grow our portfolio of customers by supporting our Field Sales Managers and delivering customer-centric service.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Your primary responsibilities and duties will be to:

  • Identify opportunities to grow and enhance our activity with existing customers.
  • Manage and proactively grow a portfolio of THX customers to achieve sales, performance and customer service targets, including making approximately 85 outbound calls per week.
  • Build and maintain relationships with our customers.
  • Update and maintain our internal systems with customer information and account activity.
  • Liaise with customers regarding orders and collections to ensure they are up-to-date and satisfied.
  • Identify and resolve problems to ensure positive outcomes for our customers.
  • Set up and revise customer rates with the agreed parameters.
  • Liaise with colleagues in other teams to ensure exceptional service standards.
  • All other reasonable management requests.

Your secondary responsibilities and duties will be to:

  • Support sales, transport, warehouse, and workshop teams to ensure processes and resourcing are optimised.
  • Enable resource sharing between departments to ensure an efficient and effective operation.
  • Occasionally attend customer appointments at customers’ locations.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE

  • Experience in making proactive customer calls.
  • Proven experience and success in a customer service environment involving longer-term customer relationships.
  • Experience working in target-driven environments and meeting targets.
  • Experience in identifying and resolving issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working in a successful SME.
  • A driven individual with a high degree of autonomy and a passion for achieving results.
  • A highly organised individual with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Works well in and contributes to a team.
  • Ability to remain calm and focussed under pressure.
