No Falls Week: 12th – 16th May
This week is No Falls Week – a week dedicated to spotlighting the importance of reducing fall risks in high-risk environments across the construction industry.
This week serves as a reminder to evaluate safety protocols and ensure workers are equipped with the right tools for fall prevention – a leading cause of death within the construction industry with up to 36% of all workplace deaths being attributed to falls from heights in the UK in (HSE, 2024).

Site additions to help reduce the risk:

Fall Arrest Block
Featuring a self retractable cable which is built into a fall arrest device. The unit is completely automatic and protects fallers by means of the ingenious energy dissipation element. Fully automatic – requires no adjustment. Protects fallers from jarring.

The 10m Fall Arrest Block is designed for reliable protection in both vertical and horizontal applications. Built with a lightweight yet durable construction, it offers exceptional strength and easy portability, making it perfect for construction sites, scaffolding, and other high-risk work environments.
Equipped with a high-strength steel screwgate karabiner that meets EN362 standards, ensuring a secure and reliable connection to the anchor point. Engineered to limit the impact force in the event of a fall, reducing it to less than 6 kN (kilonewtons).
